The Vespa Clube of Portugal , as organizer of European Vespa Days 2020 , after a meeting held on March 29th,
2020 with the Vespa World Club Board , hereby communicates with great consternation that, considering the
Coronavirus pandemic and the current forecast of it to continue this epidemic situation in Portugal until the
end of May , the conditions are not met to keep the event on schedule - 2 to 5 July of the current year.
It was proposed to VWC that the event be postponed for one year and that its realization be rescheduled for
2021, from 1 to 4 July , a proposal that has the agreement of the VWC Board.
We proposed that the r egistrations made for the EVD2020 remain val id for the event to be held in 2021 , so
there is no need for participants to make a new registration.
We also inform you that the VCPortugal, in order to minimize any inconvenience and considering the
impossibility of any registrant not being able to parti cipate, authorizes his registration to be replaced by
another member who wants to register in his place. This replacement can be made until 31/12/2020.
Regarding any requests for cancellation of registrations and subsequent returns, we inform you that the
amount can be returned taking into account the transfer costs and possible financial losses with the
investments already made by the organization. We believe that we will be in a position to proceed with the
return in July of this year, after analyzing all the necessary data and as soon as possible we will send
information regarding this matter to the national clubs.
The data for replacement and / or cancellation will be collected by filling in one on - line form available on
the official event web page .
We e mphasize that once the registration for the event is canceled, it may be difficult to register for the 2021

Above all, we regret that this pandemic has driven us away and has led to the post ponement of the event. We
were looking forward to receiving you in our country and welcoming our Vespisti friends, but the safety of all
of us requires extraordinary measures. We are certain that we all will live the event in the same spirit in 2021
and th e EVD team will continue to work to make it happen with the same enthusiasm.
